or so some national, even international figure, is apologizing
for something. In some cases, as well they might. The Roman
Catholic Church, nations, evangelists--oh, and governors.
Apologizing to family, God and us. What about us?
To whom do we "owe" apology?
April 13 Julianne Lepp “A Place We Call our Own”
This sermon is about the evolving process of discovering
where we belong and finding our personal and spiritual
place.
Julianne is currently a seminary student at Candler School of
Theology at Emory. She is pursuing her Masters in Divinity
with the goal of becoming a U U minister. She graduated
from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in International
Studies and a minor in Psychology. Since that time
she has had diverse professional roles as a Stock Broker,
Corporate Trainer, Writer, Game Designer, Business Instructor,
and Sales Director. She is the mother of two boys, Kiernan,
age 4 and Ehren, age 2. Her husband Karl Lepp is currently
the pianist at UUMAN and also shares her love of
games, books, and soaking up nature.
April 20 Karen Reagle “Just what is privilege and what might it mean for the
citizens of this country?”
We will look at what the perceptions of predominate race and
class through history to the present day and how these perceptions
may be understood by the minority of our citizens..
What is the role of a Unitarian Universalist, if any, to participate
in the process of change?
